Getting to Lift15
Lift takes place in the heart of Geneva at the Centre International de Conférence de Genève (CICG, 17 rue de Varembé, CH-1211 Genève 2) right next to numerous United Nations agencies.

Getting to Lift15:
From the airport: Geneva airport is known as "Genève Cointrin". By bus, it's only 10-15mins to CICG.
- Bus n°5 to "Hôpital": stop at "Vermont"
Useful tip: free public transport ticket from the airport at the automatic distributor near the arrival gates (right after the luggage carousels).
From the train station: Geneva's main train station is known as "Gare Cornavin". By tram or bus, it's only 10-15 mins to CICG.
- Tram n°15 to "Nations": last stop at "Nations"
- Bus n°5 to "Aéroport": stop at "Vermont"
Useful tips: when you stay in a hotel, a youth hostel or at a campsite, you receive a free public transport pass. Trams, trains and buses are very reliable. To find out how to get anywhere by public transport, visit the Transport Public Genevois website. Possibility to buy your public transport ticket at any tram / bus stop.

Lift15 Mobile App
The Lift15 app allows you to browse the program, connect with other participants, bookmark your favorite speakers and more.
You can download it by either following this link or searching for "Lift15" on your Android or iOS app store.
Your login email address is the one you have used to register for Lift15.
Your password is lift15.
We strongly recommend changing it upon logging in. This can be done by clicking on "Reset password for..." upon logging in. Once you log in, we recommend that you also upload a profile picture to signify to other participants that you are active on the app. It will be easier to find each other that way.
During Lift15, a help booth will be available to answer all of your questions related to the app. If, until then, you have urgent requests, you can send an email to app[at]liftconference.com. Do not hesitate to start posting tweets and pictures on the app already (you can tag people by using "@", like in "@jane have you registered to the app yet?").
Social activities
If you are a 3-day ticket holder, we recommend arriving on Tuesday Evening (4 Feb) and leaving on Saturday (8 Feb). This way you make the best of your Lift experience and maximize networking opportunities. We hope you will take part in the following activities:

Switzerland is renowned for its hospitality industry and hotels in Geneva are no exception. Here are a few good pointers:
For central accommodation, you may want to try the following (although please understand that this is not an endorsement):
5-star: Hôtel Intercontinental (5mins walk from CICG), La Réserve (a bit out of the way but the spa makes it worth it), Four Season Hôtel des Bergues (central and luxurious), Grand Hôtel Kempinski (central with great views over the lake).
4-star: Warwick Hotel, Hôtel Tiffany, Hôtel Novotel, Royal Hotel (Manotel)
3-star: Hotel Mon Repos, Hotel Cristal, Hotel Eden, Hotel Strasbourg, Hotel Kipling (Manotel)

Quick facts
- Most conference speeches are delivered in English with some speakers presenting in French. Live translation is provided in both English and French.
- Geneva weather in February is usually pretty cold but sunny.
- Local currency is the Swiss Franc (CHF) but many shops and restaurants take euros.
