Juliette Ancelle studied at the Universities of Lausanne and Montreal, as well as at the New York University School of Law, where she graduated with an LL.M. in 2009, She was admitted to the New York State Bar that same year.
She worked in Geneva for the United Nations High Commissionner for Refugees (HCR) and for Intellectual Property Watch, a non-profit media organisation reporting on national and international policies in the field of intellectual property. She has also worked for several years in a business law firm in Geneva and Lausanne. Juliette Ancelle advises and represents clients mainly in business and corporate matters as well as in intellectual property cases, including open source.
She maintains a blog on Social Media and IP issues and is regularly invited to speak about legal aspects of social media and the Internet in general.
