Julien graduated from Sheffield Business School in the UK and obtained a Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Amsterdam. He started out as a Marketing Project Manager for French online retailer Mollat.com. He later worked for the Dutch Philips both in Amsterdam and in the US where he helped building a digital innovation hub from the ground up together with Microsoft, IBM and Cisco. Later he sneaked into the Boston startup ecosystem with the Startup Institute, came back to Europe and happily joined SSW! In 2014 he traveled to 30+ countries as part of the Seedstars World Scout team to find the best startups and bring them to Switzerland.
