Estelle Hary is an interaction designer specialized in information design and user experience. She has a strong interest in the health field and definitely believes in design as a social practice through the creation of meaningful products. Crossing sciences and technologies with design methods, Estelle has a strong experience in working with researchers and scientists, especially on the opportunities related to the use of data. Estelle also carries a deep interest in interventionist formats as a way to make science-related questions more accessible to the public.
Estelle is a co-founder of Design Friction, a design practice working on near-futures scenarios and experimental interactive experiences. Within the studio, they explore, by using methods from design fiction and speculative design and participatory formats, emergent stakes linked to social, cultural and technological transformations impacting our societies.
