Patrick Keller is an architect (EPFL) and a founding member of fabric | ch - office for architecture, interaction & research. He is also a professor for Media & Interaction Design at the University of Art & Design, Lausanne (ECAL). Combining experimentation and production, fabric | ch formulates new architectural proposals and produces singular livable spaces that mingle territories, code, data, atmospheres and technologies. For more than a decade, the architects and scientists of fabric | ch have investigated the field of contemporary spaces, from network related environments to the interfacing of dimensions, such as their recent works about “spatial interferences”. fabric | ch’s current works deal with the mediation of our relation to location and distance, with climate and energy, with mobility and globalization in a perspective of spatial “creolization”. The fouding members of fabric | ch are Christian Babski, Stéphane Carion, Christophe Guignard and Patrick Keller. Their works have been presented and exhibited internationally.
