Valérie Bauwens is the owner of Human Centricity SàRL, a company that offers consulting services in Ethnographic Market Research. She used to be head of the Business User Observatory of Swisscom’s Research and Development (R&D) department, a group of social scientists studying the adoption of Time technology. For the past nine years, Valérie has focused on building and establishing user research as a core center of competence within Swisscom R&D. She co-constructed Swisscom residential User Observatory, and more recently constructed the Business User Observatory. She can draw on 17 years of varied industry experience, ranging from finance and business development to user research. Her original academic background is business administration, and she holds as well a university degree in psychology.
