Workshop description: In a stagnating economy and a world in which more consumption seems less possible, companies will need to develop more frugal solutions to be relevant. Customers will demand more value for less, and companies must offer a satisfying experience and adequate functionality in new, less costly, ways.
This can be done by involving customers in the value creation, through collaborative consumption, co-creation, extensive use of data and networks, and creating synergies by integrating products in systems. But it requires a very different way of thinking about product development.
