Workshop description: Sink your teeth into social issue game design by just doing it. Playing with Rules is a hands-on workshop for beginners and more advanced levels.

We'll provide you with a well-known boardgame and lots of materials to work with. You pick a concern, and in a group you iteratively modify the game's rules to address it. Any issue goes and all kinds of modifications are fine.

With guidance from Hubbub's principals, you'll get a practical start in one of the most important activities in game design.
