Workshop description: Much of the civilization that we enjoy builds on the effectiveness of antibiotics - if they lose their effect, life will not be the same again, the future of cities would look dark indeed. In this workshop, we'll use an approach called Design Fiction to explore such potential near futures - an approach that is getting a lot of praise recently by futurists and experts in strategic foresight. Using this storytelling technique we will map the changes in behavior that major antibiotics resistances might need and explore the medical, scientific and societal scenarios that could emerge - and will discuss their relevance for our priorities today.
