Sofia Georgakopoulou is a social & science activist with an agenda to change the practice of science communication (from Acoustics to Zoology) to benefit humankind. Trained in Physics from University of Athens, Frije Universiteit Amsterdam and Universiteit Basel, Sofia went onto explore applications in architecture at ETH Zurich. She is also a photo visual artists, having had her work exhibited in Germany, Greece, and Switzerland. Currently, Sofia is a director at Drug Discovery International, a non-profit platform for "breaking down the walls of science publication and opening the doors for collaboration".
