Happy has became a brand to encompass not just IT training, but management, customer service and personal development. In 2009, Henry was listed as one of the top 50 most influential business thinkers in the world by the Guru Radar of thinkers.

 

Jeremy MYERSON, research director, Royal College of Art (United-Kingdom)

Designing Tomorrow’s Networked Workplaces
As journalist and a designer, Jeremy Myerson heads the RCA’s Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design. His work focuses on the design of workplaces. He studies how people-centred design methods can be a trigger for social enterprise and business productivity. The workspaces he and his colleagues design accomodate a great variety of new types of mobile and connected workers: ‘Anchors’, ‘Gatherer’, ‘Connectors’, and ‘Navigators’.

Stefana BROADBENT, NESTA (United-Kingdom)

When digital technologies and social network make chaotic professional trajectories a feature, rather than a bug.
As psychologist, cognitive scientist and “digital anthropologist”, Stefana Broadbent moves freely between the academic and the corporate world. She has just joined Netsa, the UK’s main innovation catalyst, where she will direct her research activities on collective intelligence.

Carlos VERKAEREN, Groupe Poult (Belgium)

Managerial innovation: an other way to manage teams
CEO of the French company Poult, the second largest producer of biscuits after Lu, Carlos Verkaeren decided in 2006 to change the internal organisation to boost innovation and give more autonomy to the 900 employees.  He supports the idea of democracy in the workplace: hierarchical levels thus disappeared, employees have new responsibilities, work is valorised.

 

Amandine BRUGIERE, Fondation Internet Nouvelle Génération (France)

Digiwork : Rethinking Work in a Digital Economy, 8 New Directions
Graduated in digital publishing, ICT and after several professional experiences like chief of project in IT and consultant with expertise in e-gov, Amandine Brugière joined FING Association in 2008. She leads different future-oriented studies about the longer life expectancy, about open data and literacy of data « open data » « Infolab », changing world of work in digital society « Digiwork ». She is also lecturer at the University Paris 13thrd, in ICT department.

“People Analytics” : Creating better organizations based on how its members interact
Ben Waber co-founded Sociometric Solutions in order to apply the results of his Media Lab research on human dynamics and organizational behavior to the actual design of “better organizations”. Using physical “badges” and software agents, Sociometric Solutions aims at understanding, modelling and transforming social dynamics within organizations.

Antonio A. CASILLI, Telecom ParisTech, EHESS (France)

Digital Labor : Internet Usage as Low-Intensity Labor?
Associate professor of Digital Humanities at Telecom ParisTech and a researcher in sociology School for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS, Paris), he is the author of Les liaisons numériques (Seuil, 2010) as well as the co-author of Les liaisons numériques (Seuil, 2010) as well as the co-author of Against the Hypothesis of the End of Privacy (Springer, 2014). Graduated of a French-Russian Management Master’s in 2005 and after a first experience in a French-Russian IT company, Aurialie joined Fing Association in August 2007 as administrative and financial manager.  Since 2012 she is also in charge of the project Digiwork (aimed to rethink the place of people at work in a digital society) with Amandine Brugière.

Benoit PEREIRA DA SILVA, walking-working remote programmer, Walkingworking.com (France)

Walk while working
As software author, developer, independent mobile consultant and, since 2006, a rural remote worker, Benoit taught human-centred creative programming and human centered design as a professional senior assistant lecturer at the University of Toulouse – Le Mirail. He tests and develops experimental walking stations and work stations.

Véronique ROUTIN, Fondation Internet Nouvelle Génération (France)

Rethinking Work in a Digital Economy, 8 New Directions
After working for several large Internet and IT corporations, Veronique is in charge of Fing's development. Since 2014 she is also in charge of Fing's "ShaRevolution" programme, about the sharing economy. In 2012-2013, she was in charge of Fing's "Refaire" programme which explored the consequences of the democratization of computer-assisted design and production on industrial processes and products.

Olivier FOURNOUT, Paris Tech(France)

Le héros manager de soi au cinéma et dans les organisations ?
Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Institute for Innovation (I3) and senior lecturer at the Department of Economic and Social Sciences in Telecom ParisTech, he devoted one of his lectures at the scenes of leadership and negotiation in movies. He is the author of "Héros : Action, innovation, interaction dans les organisations et au cinéma", Presse des Mines.

Science fiction / Jobs of the future
Rémi Sussan is a journalist for InternetActu, the online news website published by the Fing. He is especially interested in NBIC technologies (Nanotechnology-Biotechnology-Information technology-Cognition) and other "futuristic" or "embryonic" technologies, as well as in subcultures and counter-cultures related to technology. He is the author of "Les Utopies Posthumaines" (Omniscience, 2005), "Demain les mondes virtuels" (FYP 2009), "Optimiser son cerveau" (FYP, 2009) and "Frontière Grise" (François Bourin, 2013)

Co-founder and CEO of Fing, Daniel Kaplan has been deeply involved in the Internet's development and evolution since the 1990's. He was VP-Membership of the Internet Society worldwide, and contributed to the creation of ICANN. He served in the European Commission's e-Europe's Experts Chamber, He is a member of several large companies' Foresight Committees, and chairs the program committee of the Lift France international conference. Daniel Kaplan has written or directed 20 books and public reports on the internet, mobility and ubiquitous networking, ambient intelligence, e-inclusion, e-commerce, e-education, electronic media, cities and sustainable development, privacy and digital identities...
